Can I access my saved game data from Xbox live if I download this title for PC?

Hi all,

I played Need for Speed Unbound and beat the game in Xbox Cloud Gaming. So my save data is tied to my account. Now that this game is on sale, I want to buy it and download it on my PC so I can actually experience it in HD (instead of the low quality cloud gaming).

I'm wondering if there's any way to transfer my save data, or load my Xbox save data if I purchase the game directly from the EA site here for my PC.

For example, could I sign up for the $1 two-week trial of Xbox PC Game Pass, install the game on my PC that way, then purchase a license from here on the EA site afterwards? Would that result in me being able to "sync" my save data, even though this EA site is not affiliated with Xbox Live?

    Hi there, @HurricaneBampa 

    Unfortunately, content and progress cannot be transferred between platform accounts.

    Bummer! Thanks for the response though. What if I were to do the "PC Game Pass" through the Xbox online? It did say something like "via EA Play" - still no I'm assuming but I was hoping to get crafty.

    @HurricaneBampa That would still be a different version/platform, since the game does not support cross-progression, you will start over with a new save.
