Hard to make a game that everybody likes, I remember in NFS Payback the issue was the cops were too linear and passive.
Nothing much can be done unfortunately.
I agree, not all games are for everyone.
I just thought it would be helpful for the devs to get feedback on gameplay from fans.
It's just frustrating when you want to turn the game on for a few quick races before bed to find you spend most of your time running from police.
