I've also seen the case where racing a perfect race on relaxing mode, can still place on the bottom 4.
One instance where was 250m from finish and in first, and the next thing I know was overtake by four cars, even when I hit NOX during the first overtake.
I have also noticed when you side slam an opponent, which used to cause them to oversteer in other NFS and loos speed, now they get an accel boost and pull around and away.
Additionally, when attempting a PIT mauver on them, they do not spin out. I've spun out the cop's but it doesn't work on AI racers. Ugg!
- @DJWildhorse1 Neither of the 2 boosts (nos or burst) seem to have any effect if the AI don't want it to. You can catch up to someone and then use both a triple burst boost and then straight out empty your nos bar, but if the AI says "no", you won't be able to overtake it. The AI will even just walk away from you as if you are standing still.
