I came here to say just this. This game is too hard. I'm not the most amazing racing driver in the world but Ive clocked tons of games both simulator(ish) like Forza or GT as well as arcade things like hot wheels and Mario Kart.
WIth NFS Unbound I simply can't get past the week 1 qualifier on easy mode. I understand there are people that are hella good at this stuff who want a serious challenge but this game has nothing for everyone else.
For now I have uninstalled as trying the same race over and over (yes im in a top tier A) is really boring. Gutted because the driving mechanic and world are really fun. Please release a patch with an easy mode for genuine casuals.
- @GingyTheGrey Has nothing to do with your skill. THe AI and rubberbanding has been way overtuned where it is no fun no matter how good you are. I finished first at the first try, but I also uninstalled because of the endless pursuits because the cop AI is just way too strong for a fun chase. You can only lose cops finding weaknesses in the AI instead of driving well enough and AI racers are the ones deciding if you get a chance of winning or not. Skill has nothing to do with this game.
But the devs are on vacation. They don't care you put down 70+ euros for a game that is full of programming fails. They will be back after their break to come up with more content you can buy with more of your money though 🙂
