I keep getting stuck after passing the Qualifier for Week 1 reaching beginning Week 2, because I am not able to win first or close to first place in a race. I watch Youtube gameplay and I notice these people can turn and maintain high speed at a turn. Can someone tell me what steps and how heavy or light to press a) before the turn b)middle of turn c) after the turn .I tried everything using hand brake, foot brake, but my turns are not consistent. Please let me know and I am sure lot of people wants to do this too. Kingston

@JudyRacing yep but compared to left foot braking you loose too much speed with handbrake. for me this version works way better 🙂

It also depends on what car you are using and the engine and parts you have equipped on it. Also the adjustments you make or don't make in the Handling settings can have a significant effect on the performance of the vehicle.

@eddieX7That's right, and a lot depends on how much grip the car has. I have most of my cars on 100% grip, so you can take the corners with more speed. Then I also have cars with only 60-80& grip, these are very good for microdrift.

This depends on alot of factors. I never let off the gas during a race or drift event, the reason for that is I keep the engines rmps at the max all the time. The reason people can take a turn at 100 mph depends on the car the set up and the apex they use to enter and exit the turns. I only use the handbrake during races and cop pursuits and only tap the handbrake otherwise you will spin the car. Drift events are another story handbrake is all I use

If you have to drift in a corner, I use the handbrake briefly to make the car drift in the corner. And both work very well for me. But you have to try it yourself. Have fun

Thanks so much for your reply. I will accept the solution very soon. Can you tell me when you said to press the handbrake "briefly", the buttons do not have sensitivity like pressing hard or soft, right? You mean just press and let go the button very fast?

Thank you very much to both of your folks reply, and I will accept the solution very soon after my son tries it. It seems the things to do are a) turning with "apex", which is turning from outside to inside of a curve b) tap very quickly with the smallest fraction amount possible for the handbrake if needed and c) let go gas or press gas trigger softly inside a turn. Will try it and let you guys know.

if the button is kept pressed, the handbrake is always activated, you have to try that in the curves, how long you press the button, so usually a short press is enough

Yes, drifting is a little harder here, but it's possible, I've finished all the drift events a long time ago. There are 2 ways to drift, one is, you release the gas before the corner and then accelerate again at the beginning of the corner and always play with the gas while drifting, the second is, you use the brake at the beginning of the corner and then you step on the gas again and here, too, you always play with the gas while drifting. That's how I managed to do all the drift events. and sometimes i use this for the microdrift during an online race to replenish the nitro.

@JudyRacing I posted a link,not a question.You're misled.According to the article,there're 3 ways to drift,hitting the throttle(W key) to drift,hit the handbrake(Space key) to drift and brake(S key) to drift.
