I lost all my progress

I lost all my stuff in story mode and multiplayer but it still kept my rank and level 

I don't know what to do I'm on Xbox is there any way I could get it back

What happened was I logged on one day and customized a car then got off. The next day I got on and it kept asking me to override safe. I pressed no. Over and over but it would instantly pop back up  asking the same thing until I pressed continue. Did I delete my progress my self? I have lots of hours in the game.

 Also on story mode I can't even progress anymore I tried playing through it and once you have to buy your own ride after you get Tess it's stuck in the "buy custom" tab.

Please help
