Yeah,
They should add:
Custom decals and sharing them like in Forza.
More decals, like brand decals, there were more of them in the previous NFSs.
The ability to paint car parts separately like the spoiler and hood.
The ability to add decals to the spoiler, you can apply stickers to the windshield and windows but not on the spoiler lol.

@AXELUUUTrue. The Crew 2 and Forza Horizon might be much better. I don't have Forza Horizon or The Crew 2, but in my theory, it's much better than NFS' decal editor. Although, I've seen some criticism about the decal editor in Forza Horizon and TC2, but looking through the features, its what NFS lacks. That's why making anime wraps in NFS are so hard and bad, especially that the decal limit is 300, unlike Forza, that's why the anime wraps are much detailed and better its due to their advanced decal editor features.
Also, to your question "The ability to paint car parts separately like the spoiler and hood", yes. Well, the separation doesn't really matter to me, but when I first played Heat, I got confused. "Where's the hood area?", but then I realized it was from the top (hood, roof, and trunk lid).
Also, you couldn't paint the splitter. I wanted to paint the Subaru BRZ's RB splitter, but the decal's only limited to the front bumper. How come we we're able to paint the side skirts and the fenders? The Volkswagen Golf MKI's Forge splitter is the only one that could be painted with decals. In Unbound, I've experienced most cars with this problem when painting splitters and spoilers. This should be improved (not fixed as this is not a bug) in the next update of the game. And of course, they still should add the proper improved features we've been waiting and worrying for as it's already too much and they still never improved it.
