they have to make it for all consoles, not only for next gen consoles, both together like the others make it for next gen and old consoles here is an example

there's no point in developing the game for older consoles if you finally want to see progress in the next gen consoles. I thought since cyberpunk 2077 it should have arrived at the last one that it makes no sense to produce such games for the last gen consoles as well. the ps5 has been around for over 2 years now - how much longer should last gen be co-developed?
