Personally I'm okay with the limited track options, since I grew up with games like Forza where it was all about mastering specific tracks by playing them over and over again. But online is all I've played lol. I stopped playing story mode pretty early on because the cops actually stressed me out a lot! Especially when all I had was a b-class car, I just couldn't get away. I'm very glad they added Linkups to the online experience, and I'm also really glad the challenges to unlock cars take so long, otherwise I wouldn't have had things to work towards even after 150 hours of play.
I would also agree about the music. While the original playlist isn't bad for the most part, I've had it muted for a while now. Spotify tends to serve me better. (I still dream of the day when a game I play can support my own playlist in-game, like some games on the first gen XBox did)
