nobody races anymore
so all they do now in the game is get into one big green circle & smash the police cars to get points .this game is done .some racing game this turn out to be.

i just downloaded this game with EA play and I am glad I did because I don't have to waste my time fighting to get a refund. the reason why no one races anymore is because this game SUCKS. its literally every worst part of the other NFS games all rolled into one. like slow starter car, unable to turn, accelerate, drift, the list goes on. and yes I know "you don't expect to have the best car in the game at the start do you? what fun does that make?" to answer this, no I don't but I would at least like a car that can drift somewhat instead of like all other NFS games in hitting the brake to cause a drift and it slowing down to almost nothing or that when you want to hit the apex it acts like you want to drift. EA can put these games out quick because they created the base code and just build the world around it. not 1 thing has changed from any of the NFS games in the past 15 years. the people who make these games might be brilliant but they listen to the streamers or the people who spend hours in this game to make money, not the people who play this game for fun, if they started doing that, then maybe these games could be fun again.
Its not the worst, ive put nearly 700 hours in online, story modes as expected ,not a lot of fun, but once you complete that, get some free cars, go online and the cars carry over, physics are a little odd, but you get used to it.
my comment? yes this game is the worst. every single NFS game I have played is the same way, the stuff I mentioned before but also that for the nitrous, boost or whatever you prefer to call it has literally no effect on my car but easily boost the other cars. like going on a straight, you expect the boost to give you a boost to push you far ahead of the other racers but when it runs out, they are right there as if you never used it.
You need to learn how to build a car properly then. car series figures dotn matter, its bhp/torque and having the correct parts.. just because you cant play the game doesnt mean its rubbish...
I honestly don't get the definition of "it sucks" or "the game's dead". Yes, it might have only 16 player lobbies and a new mode that lots of people can play, but just because of a new fun mode and a very effective way of getting fast money for more cars and upgrades, doesn't mean no one will ever race in a playlist with you and put some fast-paced action to your game experience. Like I'm not lying here but I get more people joining playlists that I have setup or another player has setup more than no one joining the playlists at all, and yes some people may leave mid-playlist which is a bit annoying but it doesn't happen all the time and as long as I get people in my playlists at all at an often rate is good enough for me to get the money I want/need for more cars that I can buy and/or for upgrades. I don't understand why people say this so frequently, I must he having an eternal good luck spell on me or something Idk but I do get players in my playlists racing with me more often than I don't get players with me at all.
- @WSP_NFSonPS i understand "it sucks" and "its dead" a lot because it sucks comes from people who have years of experience with other racing games like myself and they are comparing those games to this one. it sucks speficially because the mechanics of the game suck. if you tap the brake and then turn you are automatically sent into a drift which is not bad exactly but when its slight turn or when you want to hit the apex of the turn it makes it hard to do. its dead is mostly because there are other racing games out there that offer other more things to do. like "the crew 2" for example or "riders republic" a racicg game that is like other NFS games doesn't really make people want to play this.
overall they just made NFS heat and added cartoonish smoke for the tires or wings for when you make a jump.I've been hearing a lot of info on the drift physics and it has been said that it has been improved a bit and so while drifting using a high-level drift build it's more bearable.
