nobody races anymore
so all they do now in the game is get into one big green circle & smash the police cars to get points .this game is done .some racing game this turn out to be.

oh i finished it, you win free cars that carry over to online. but online has kept me occupied for over 670 hours. just a little sad its going down hill due to people just doing link up races
@wevsky i havent. i just started playing it and got to what I would call the 4th race. the one after you get your 2nd safehouse if you didn't cheat and unlock them all early. i quit playing soon after because of the game being just like some of the other NFS games in making you lose all your speed vs keeping it when drifting

hardly giving it a chance then really, stock cars wont handle how you want, that comes with parts and tuning, and you have got to plug away at the career to get them, or just go online , wont have any free cars won thru career tho - @wevsky maybe but i am not playing online. i am playing story which doesn't allow you to upgrade the starter cars more than body kits that as for the most part, locked.

yes because you need to progress, you know how it works, progress , buy garages , get better parts. etc etc - @wevsky yes and they make it almost impossible to do with the bad steering mechanics, opponent cars and traffic cars just running into you, the cops being able to see you great distances even on heat level 1. just too many issues with the game. i understand it came out in Dec. last year. but companies no longer care about the base game. they should probably just make an online only version

well you can just play online, you would start with no money or any cars and have to use loaners. and thats a hard slog, just get the career done, you have the ability to redo the last day before the big race if you dont have the right car - @wevsky looking at the reviews of people from console. they gave it 2 of 5 with 751 reviews. seems like its more hated than I thought

well , as said theres a lot of us who were still playing and a lot that still are. ill wait until people get bored of link up and try getting some races in, but i usually race with a few friends so its not that much of an issue - @wevsky @wevsky i decided to go back and give it another try and * no I am done. anyone who says they like this game is either an idiot, have never played another NFS game or is playing on PC where they can easily mod the game files to make things easier or harder depending on their play style. playing the street race "goin' uptown" I can not get any kind of break. my car doesn't move at the start, I am constantly being shoved byt other racers into traffic as if I was a feather but they are bolted to the ground. no, just no. i am done with this game forever. the only upside I can say about it is with EA play, I didn't have to spend a dime on it.

well i enjoy it, and im not an idiot, yuou clearly cant play driving games.. now have a wonderful day - @wevsky that guy is exactly what I am talking about , they changed the game for fools like this dude who thinks just because he played games before he will beat someone with 6 months on him, the fool did not even turn off drift entry put traction control on or anything to make the game play like the Og Most Wanted , but with his 2 days gameplay he is already accusing others of cheating , so let them go , the severs are got too many level 0 anyway spreading us Og players very thin , in the last two days I won races with going with the speed limit , that is how much these new player suck

i have noticed a hell of a lot of new players. keeps me wining drift races 😉 @wevskyLinkup's are a lot of fun, until you get a group of people who don't know what Drafting is, but other than that, I enjoy them.
@wevskylol. so you really dont see how they just made a nfs heat remake and yet you tell me I cant play racing games. oh too funny. this game sucks because the mechanics of the game suck. i set the game on to relaxed difficulty because I wanted to learn the game and then come back on hard difficulties to test my skills. the easy modes are supposed to be that its almost impossible for you to lose and yet this game gives you 3 crappy cars to start with and no possible way to upgrade them without either paying for the map reveal or just changing the bodykits.
i did play a little bit of online though and I do have to admit that is much better than story. same 3 crappy starter car choices but at least you can upgrade the performance.
so don't try and say I cant play racing game. how about the logic of this game having you pay 16k buy in and if you win the race, 22k prize. you only get 6k. might as well make all races $0 buy in and win whatever you win.- @CrashingTiger are you talking about me? i hope not because I am about to make you look like an idiot because I didn't play online. on every game I play, I play the story first then online. i didn't decide to play a little bit of online yesterday and today and I can tell you is sucks not because its bad but because the police are a little underpowered in my opinion. i was in the Nissan starter and with level 5 heat I was able to lose them easily. hell I saw someone in one of the supercars just playing around with them with the speed of the car.

story mode isnt hard to complete .. it just isnt - @wevsky yes it is. you might want to try it again now that they have updated the game.

ive got no need to, i completed it december last year, and everything you described was how it was then. i got thru it ,it wasnt great, i then spend 670 odd hours racing online - @wevsky then you have no idea if the game is actually the same or not because what you are saying is that the story mode allows you to upgrade the performance parts of the car and so far it doesn't. only been allowed to upgrade the body style which doesn't upgrade the performance.

have you even won enough money in the initial races to buy the garage upgrade? there in is your answer - @wevsky in online. yes. in story the game doesn't give you that option which again I play story first then online. i did play a little bit of online and it was ok. the police even on heat 5 and starter car, are way underpowered.

when i log on next ill look but im pretty sure you still have to upgrade garages in story mode, no reason they would change it - @catchingrepoman
ive just logged back into story mode and the garage upgrade list is still there. @wevsky well i played a little more and turns out I was playing the prologue so now I will admit to being a complete *.

ooops, never occurred to me to mention that, crack on then... - @wevsky me either as i just started playing. still the prologue was a little tougher than I thought it should have been, especially since what happened in it
