Its not the worst, ive put nearly 700 hours in online, story modes as expected ,not a lot of fun, but once you complete that, get some free cars, go online and the cars carry over, physics are a little odd, but you get used to it.
my comment? yes this game is the worst. every single NFS game I have played is the same way, the stuff I mentioned before but also that for the nitrous, boost or whatever you prefer to call it has literally no effect on my car but easily boost the other cars. like going on a straight, you expect the boost to give you a boost to push you far ahead of the other racers but when it runs out, they are right there as if you never used it.
You need to learn how to build a car properly then. car series figures dotn matter, its bhp/torque and having the correct parts.. just because you cant play the game doesnt mean its rubbish...
I get what you mean. I'm not defending Unbound here by any means, I'm just pointing out what happens in the game from my own perspective and all I'm having in Lakeshore Online is mostly positivity and that people are joining my playlists or joining other people's playlists. My very first NFS game that started my whole love for this franchise was Carbon on my Xbox 360 back in the early 2010s and I just play this game because I have friends who play this game often and that I'm good at it and I'm not saying you should play it, I'm not forcing you or anyone by any means. This is just my opinion about the game and it's positive but I'm just a patient and optimistic person. I do understand that this game isn't doing well but I just keep my opinions about this game out of the way so I don't cause any unnecessary arguments with people who hate this game. NFS is just the franchise I'm good at, if I was that serious in expecting such high-quality game experience from Unbound I would've personally quit after completing the storyline 1 month after launch.
@wevskyand i am telling you it does. you are right that we each have our opinions. i didn't play the game before these updates but from what I have seen if you say they ruined the game then they made the game far worse than I could have thought. i was playing on xbox so the left trigger is your brake but if you hit the brake and then try and turn it was cause you to start to drift. turn too hard and you basically stopped the car to make a 90 degree turn.
since you have played them all as have I. you will or at least should be able to notice the similarities between the games. like how this game is an exact remake of HFS heat but with the cartoonish tire smoke and wings when you go over certain jumps. overall I call this game a joke and a failure and wonder why they ever made it and who got fired because of it. but listening to a whole lot of reddit stories, I wouldn't be too surprised to learn that this game was made solely as malicious compliance from the game builders to the boss who was demanding the game be built how they want it.

oh i finished it, you win free cars that carry over to online. but online has kept me occupied for over 670 hours. just a little sad its going down hill due to people just doing link up races
