Steering Wheel support?

The fact that you haven't had an answer from EA answers your question: NO. Another Need for Speed, another driving game with no steering wheel support. EA is seemingly not capable of re-issuing a game that had steering wheel support (Hot Pursuit) with steering wheel support. What makes you think a new game will have it? When I heard that Criterion is back I actually had high hopes for the new Need for Speed. Obviously the only thing back is the name Criterion, nothing else. Shame.

I'm a foolishly optimistic kinda guy.

More than likely not. It's an arcade Racer. It would be pointless.

I've been playing Heat with a wheel and have enjoyed the experience.  Even with limited support that it has.  I only play from inside the car view.  I realize i'm in a minority on this, but it will make the difference for me.  Not asking anyone to agree, its just how i like to play.

@XGCSithsays a guy who drives car games using 2 "nipples"? Just because you can't afford an steering wheel doesn't mean the hardware is pointless. I'm using wheels in any car game and guess what, I find controllers very pointless and non-connected to the game.

@XGCSith I disagree. A wheel makes the game much more "realistic", even for an arcade racer. A flight game is more realistic with a stick compared to a gamepad. It is a personal choice, but I believe if you're already making a driving game it should be given as an option. Need for Speed always had the option to use a wheel until 2012. Most Wanted from Criterion was the last game that included it from the beginning. Since Rivals it's always this back and forth, does it, doesn't it, they might add it later after launch, a bunch of BS. Tired of it.

So nobody at EA knows if there will be wheel support?  I can't be the first person who has ever asked about wheel support.

I appreciate your answer, but i'm pretty sure these guys are playing assetto corsa while he is reviewing the release of the nfs map.
