Games are always evolving and getting more powerful, bigger, etc... It's the natural cycle and a lot of devs want to push their games to the best they can be which means at some point cutting off older gen systems like PS4 which hold the game back, creates more work managing different console generations and all of that.
- @Blckteo177 Because that is the part of beeing a gamer, i have played videogames since mid 90s. And even i can see that games are getting more advanced in gameplay and graffic vice, my pc will most likely not run this game.
But i am planning too upgrade my old Xbox one with a XBox series X, and mayby later down the road. A new pc or upgrade my old one with new graffic card etc, as a gamer you have too keep up with the time.
If you cant afford that mayby you should stop play videogames or get a job so you will get a stable income, anyway i have a feeling you are poor student if yes i understand your situation. - TTZ_Dipsy3 years agoHero+
It's an unfortunate but necessary evil to help push games to new levels. You'll still be able to discuss and interact with thr community though and it'll always be there if/when you decide to make the switch
- @BVBgamer88 It's not about being poor or rich lol. There are millions of console gamers who can't find a new gen console on shops except used ones or from scalpers at (at least) twice MSRP. If you buy that for a single game + the game itself you are nothing more than a *... poor or rich. Current gen consoles are powerful enough to run this game at 1080p 60fps without RT and the game will look just fine as you can find out for yourself from last game(s) titles.
"Twice MSRP", that barely exists anymore. Even next gen consoles on StockX are selling for at most, $200 over retail. There is a point in time when next gen needs to be the only priority. It's been two years, it's been more than enough time to focus on both previous and next gen. It's time to move on.
I'm very sad I couldn't wait for the game need for speed unbound I thought I'd buy it, but I can't because it's only for the next generation xbox x s I have an xbox one i can't afford xbox x or s because it is very expensive the game itself is very expensive I live on social assistance I only get 400 euros per month when you do that I will be able to buy it, otherwise I can't buy it think about the rest of us too, some of us are poor
Why are people referring to consoles released in 2020 as 'next gen' ? They're current gen, and have been for a while. You're running an old console and more and more new games won't run on them. Same for PC, you need to keep upgrading. Gaming means spending cash on a console/new PC every couple of years.
If you can't afford that (understandable in todays age) then that's very sorry, but that's how life works. You can't have certain things. (Neither can I, or anyone else for that matter, even if they're better off financially)
- if others can do it, they should too, but adapt it for xbox one and xbox series x one 4K for old consoles and nextgen consoles, both together, this is not fair think a little about what you write, it seems that I have other games, but it is made for both versions not only for new series nextgen x s but also compatible xbox one + xbox x s series for 4K
- for example, ubisoft and many more make an old console and a new series of consoles for both versions, just for example
Current gen consoles are on the market for 2 years already and have no more issues with availability. Upgrade instead of being shocked that almost 10 years old devices get no new games.
