Hello, I also had a data loss a long time ago. Until someone gave me the crucial tip. But it only works on PS5. Deactivate automatic synchronization. This is because if an error occurs when turning off the game, the automatic synchronization uploads this error to the cloud storage. And if the synchronization is off, you exit the game, close the game with the options key, and then you press the options key again and press "Upload and download saved data". And then you can see whether the console memory has the same MB, for me it is 113.3 MB. If both are the same, only the time is different, you can upload the console memory to the cloud without any problem, if the console memory is too low, i.e. it does not have 113.3 MB, then under no circumstances upload this console memory to the cloud, otherwise you will upload the error to the cloud storage. This way you always have a good cloud storage that you can download back to the console if an error occurs. So it is better to lose just a few XP and a bit of money if there was an error than the entire game. Therefore, deactivate automatic synchronization and upload the console memory to the cloud storage automatically every time you exit the game, it is a bit more work, but it is worth it.
