I was playing multiplayer as usual and I quit the game, now when I booted it up, it asked me all the preferences as it would when you were running it for the first time and now suddenly my single and multiplayer progress is all completely lost. The savegame file in the documents folder is still there, but judging by the date, it seems to have been overwritten by the game itself, so the only chance of recovery would be for the cloud save to synchronize back to when nothing was wiped, if that is even possible.
Is there any chance for me to recover any of my progress? I had well over 80 hours clocked into the game, all the achievements unlocked, got every collectable and was well on my way in multiplayer mode at level 70, starting from scratch would leave me disheartened from playing again.
(images showing that both the single and multiplayer modes have nothing, since the player models for each one do not appear and neither do the cars)
Update, decided to go through one of the modes until I could reach car customization, my wrap files are still in the documents folder but the game does not detect them, it does detect settings however, this is just getting more and more confusing

I'm sorry this happened to you, the more i look at this forum the more it looks like EA just doesn't care, I asked @EA_David earlier about changelogs for the new update he posted friday and instead of answering me he was on there answering topics that were already solved, the problem here isn't criterion or need For Speed the problem is EA they just don't care about anything but money and these devs on here are puppets and only respond to what they are allowed to, it's frustrating and unfortunate but what I'd advise at this point is playing a racing game not owned by EA, refund whatever money you spent and wait until/if they decide to care, this is ridiculous and not fair to the people who have allowed them to continue doing business by buying their half assed products, they will probably delete this or ban me, but whatever i'm saying my piece
