EA should do something to fix this issue. 🤬🤬🤬
Many of us are having this issue since the volume 7 update. EA/Criterion have been silent and offered no help.
My guess - your save file is corrupted.
All you can do is use a back up save file (if you don't backup, try recycle bin, OneDrive, restore previous file version) or start the game over (by deleting your save file in My Documents).
Sorry to bring you bad news but there is nothing else that seemingly can be done to resolve this issue.
