Well the list of fixes in the patch notes is massive. I saw this that could potentially include the issue we are all having.
- Fixed and issue where the player can't equip any character customization after rebooting the game

Finally is fixed, we waited like 5, 6 months? Idk but hooray!! 😂
Welp for me my character clothing is bugged makes nothing but only underpants, also can't even edit nor change character model
