Hi @kam945
When you have a moment can we try the following?
- Verify you signed into your PSN account
- Check for updates
- Restore Licence
- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Open your PS5 NAT Type
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
- Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database

Hi @EA_Illium . Unfortunetly these potential fixes you have mentioned didnt help. When Im choosing the option ‘play multiplayer’ Im stuck at the loading screen (when the green bar is filled nothing happens). I tried to join by multiple options like game invite from a friend, joining a group.. Funny thing is, that somebody can join me (while Im at the infinite loading) and I can see that somebody is in the group. Unfortunetly we can do nothing then.. The only option to get back to the startin menu is disconnecting with the internet.. I tried different internet connections, tried to switch between DNS settings, MTU.. Still same problem.
The sad thing is, I cant backup my save on PS5 to USB DRIVE bcs its only doable via PS+ cloud upload. I have PS+ on a different account, not on this one..
Picture below shows the infinite loading screen

Hi Kam, you come to the garage, then try this, that helped me, for me there were 3 cars that caused errors. Turn off automatic synchronization, start the game, go to the garage, sell the bug car, end the game. Manually load the console save into the cloud, restart the console, load the cloud save back into the console and restart the game, then try going online. If that doesn't work yet, look for the remaining error cars until it works again. if it works again, activate automatic synchronization again. It took me almost 2 days before I could play online again.- 2 years ago

Furthermore I dont even have the PS+ on my main acct so the only one save Ive uploaded on March this year… I had some problems with joining the multiplayer in the past, then joining by the invite solved it. But now its tough as hell

I believe you, things like that are hard.
And if you try to sell all the cars in the story, maybe you'll end up in the garage. without online. I don't play Story anymore, so I sold it.
