@Cirqle I'm gonna request a full refund from PlayStation and if not, I'll be looking into legal action against EA. They've ignored many game breaking issues and offer no real way to get in contact with a real human in customer support. They do everything to make it hard to get help. Even their Twitter is a bot. I paid full price with a preorder and bought all DLC. Just to lose all progress on PS5. Game won't even load into story mode so it's actually unplayable. I'm not exaggerating. I made a post to ask for help but nobody will answer. All replies in other posts with the same issue get no help at all. Just a silent "Thank you for your money now f off. We don't care about your problems with the game. Even if you can't play it at all."

@IceKoldKilla1992 yep. I've found people reporting the issue all back to December 2022. So they've known about this for almost a year without doing anything.
A cloud save feature would be all that's needed. I wouldn't mind losing a single session. Losing hundreds of hours of gameplay I really do mind.
And they've made the situation infinitely worse by ignoring the problem and ignoring those of us who lost everything.
