Drag mode unplayable with Racing Wheel

Summarize your bug With a racing wheel, the drag mode's tap to change lane style from NFS Underground translates so poorly, the vehicle constantly weaves side to side. Please provide a toggle for users with superior input methods to use regular steering instead.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Plug a racing wheel into the game with a 270 degree operating range (ideal and competitive for every other mode) and just TRY to win a drag race without wildly weaving between lanes.
What happens when the bug occurs? Car jumps wildly between lanes and makes unintentional lane changes during a drag race.
What do you expect to see? Any time I attempt to use my logitech G29 racing wheel to enjoy the new drag racing mode.
