Error code CE-107880-4 on PS5

Summarize your bug New DLC, both Robojets Swag Pack and the Ford Mustang GT Legendary Custom Pack are not able to be downloaded
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy one of the new DLCs, then try to download it
What happens when the bug occurs? It is unable to download. It says "Something went wrong." with the error code "CE-107880-4"
What do you expect to see? The DLCs actually downloading

Both of the new DLCs are not able to be downloaded on PS5, I've seen others with the DLC cars in game as well, so I dont know if this is just on PS5

All  three new content packs give a CE-107880-4 error on my ps5.

this doesn't work.  restoring licenses, managing game content, restarting the PS5; none of these have worked so far and i highly doubt deleting the game and reinstalling it would do anything either.

this is honestly frustrating, i didn't pay 15 bucks to not use the content i paid for.

a few sources have already said to try restoring licenses as mentioned by @EA_Barry , but several users are reporting this isn't working either.  if that's the case, then i'd wager that deleting and reinstalling the game wouldn't do anything either.  this has to be a problem on Sony's and/or Criterion/EA's end, and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.  it's not a good feeling to purchase something touted as available and then subsequently be unable to use the thing you purchased.

im not too sure but i think it's only happening on ps5.

A few people have already noted that this was an issue, but I wanted to go a tiny bit into more detail as to what's happening.  When PS5 users purchases items from the new Volume 3 Update such as the "Robotjets Swag Pack", they are receiving the error code "CE-107880-4" with the message accompanying it: "Something went wrong".  Responses to this issue in attempts to help users rectify the problem have largely surrounded restoring licenses on the PlayStation 5 console, but this has shown to be ineffective.  Additionally, I don't think, as a result, that deleting and reinstalling the game itself would solve the issue either.

In short: Restoring licenses is not rectifiyng the problem.  Valid licenses to games and add-ons are not the problem.

Furthermore, I've attempted to clear the PS5's cache via safe mode and this has also shown to be ineffective.  I'm no tech-guru, but clearing the cache generally helps resolve corrupt or problematic cache data, so I think this would mean that the issue isn't problematic cache data.

So then, it falls to EA/Criterion to figure the problem out in tandem with Sony, or perhaps this is an issue on Sony's end.  Either way, this is no doubt frustrating to deal with given that Volume 3's release is fully accessible to PC and Xbox as far as I've seen.

EA, please rectify this.  It's not a good feeling to purchase something and subsequently be unable to use it at all.
