Same issue here , when I access the online mode it gives me this error , Cannot create lobby , item system synchronization failed , error code FTJR2008 , i can play Story mood no issues , just when i try to play online

    So i Bought a new car in single player mood , played a couple of races , closed the game properly , loaded it again and bam ...no errors !!!

      I will try to mess around in singleplayer and see what that does, though I worry it won't help as the car that got corrupted for me was a car I purchased in online mode.

        Okay I'm not sure what changed, but I came back around 10 hours later and signed back on and it just works now. Did not do anything to my save file other than the "reset then move it back" thing that was suggested earlier.
