@Grandmaquil I got the game too now and have experienced the slow motion too. It happens usually during races but not freeroaming the map. It's very weird behaviour. I used the "CPU fix" that limits the cores to 4 in a user.cfg file. That resulted in the slow motion behavior. I can recommend increasing the number from 4 to 8 if you have the cores at disposal that is. It solved the problem but the FPS for me is still relatively low. Same with CPU Utilization, also very low, and GPU is 12% in use.

clear app cache and turn on resizable bar if you have it (my pc doesnt sadly) put everything to performance mode delete dx12 file from shadercache or eomething folder. and also clear ea app cache each time you play from the ea app, three dots, app recovery

@GrandmaquilClearing the ea app cache should only be done with corrupt downloads. Shader cache I wouldn't know either. Cause I think it hasn't affected me yet in the game. No strange fps slowdowns, I think leaving that cache should be better for now. I might try the game using DXVK because god knows what kind of optimizations that has in place.
- 2 years agoI realized that DXVK doesn't work because it's a DirectX12 game. But even than I tried running it with VKD3D and that just froze half way trough a loading screen.
