Full range dynamic range does not sound full dynamic range. Not even close.

Summarize your bug Everything sounds compressed. Too compressed. Makes playing this at high volume ( the way all racing games should be played ) very unenjoyable.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game on a full range home theater rig. Preferably on some higher end speakers. I have Klipsch RP all around, for example.
What happens when the bug occurs? I'm pretty annoyed by the super squashed loudness war audio coming out of my HT rig. One thing that REALLY drives me nuts is how loud the shifts are.
What do you expect to see? I expect this to sound great on my HT rig. Currently it does not.
Most receivers and sound bars have an auto-leveling feature built into them. We do not need compression like this. Limit JUST enough to keep the peaks from getting out of hand. You need to mix this like a movie, not some pop record. Music mixing techniques have no place here. Why do the cars get quieter when I rev them near the top of the tach? That's just weird. Please get some audio engineers who are more passionate about making cars sound accurate than they are about pleasing their loudness war gods.
This is just not acceptable for a Full dynamic range setting. I've not done it yet, but if I ran this through my DR meter, I bet this would hit MAYBE DR 8. You should be making all these sounds sound natural. No enhancement is needed. Not even a lil bit. Save the EDM techniques for EDM. Get them out of our games.
Furthermore. WHERE IS OUR SPATIAL MIX?! NO DOLBY ATMOS?! NO DTS?!
This is the age of spatial audio. Even TV speakers and soundbars have this capability to some extent. I was really looking forward to hearing how this sounds on my atmos rig. ☹️
I can literally hear where the lower mids and bass are being hit by compression.
