The car will accelerate very slowly in that gear, regardless of the transmission / engine / upgrade combination installed, regardless of manual/automatic shifting, and in any game mode both offline and online.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Step 1. Select the 2009 Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition. Step 2. Exit the garage. Step 3. If using automatic shifting, accelerate until the car shifts into 3rd gear. If using manual shifting, shift through gears manually until 3rd gear.
What happens when the bug occurs? The car's acceleration in the 3rd gear is markedly lower than any other gear, even higher gears (4th-5th-6th and higher if installed), at any speed, regardless of the engine used/upgrades installed/shifting method utilized/throttle input/controller used.
What do you expect to see? Proper acceleration in 3rd gear, slower than second gear but quicker than 4th/5th/6th gear at all power levels with any engine/upgrade/transmission combination.
