Improper placing at the end of race series: Drift Pro

Summarize your bug Competing in a drift pro A class race, came in 5th, 2nd and 3rd respectively. At the end of the game, I was placed 6th even though I was overall 4th.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Participate in drift pro races and finish in various positions. See where the final place is at the end.
What happens when the bug occurs? Placed in last place and awarded the lowest reward.
What do you expect to see? To be awarded the place that I finished in.

Upon entering a drift pro A class series, I finished in 5th, 2nd and 3rd out of 6 people. At the end reward screen, I was in 6th and only awarded the 6th place reward even though it showed me in 3rd place at the end of the second race. If I finished 3rd on the last race my standings should have stayed 3rd or moved down a slot to 4th not all the way to 6th.
