Issues with using Xbox controller wirelessly on PC

Same issue using vanilla XBONE Controller on PC via Bluetooth -> Keybindings are completly wrong,  game tells me to press A - I need to press "Start" Literally unplayable. QA?

    I was also able to get it working.

    1. I downloaded the Xbox Accessories app from the Microsoft store
    2. Updated the firmware
    3. Applied Win 11 updates
    4. Removed my controller from Bluetooth devices and added it again

    Now it's registering inputs properly. Thank you!

    The game just crashed on my Radeon 6950 XT in the first race anyway.. but that's a different issue. 😞

Summarize your bug On the PC version Xbox controller does not work. The game tells me to press A but confirmation is on the menu button. I was trying to navigate to the Controls option in the menu, but I can see only key mapping for the keyboard and not the gamepad. For gamepad, I see two default layouts but the PC version is not picking those up. For example in character creation LB and RB does nothing and Y X B A buttons do the same as arrow keys.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connecting Xbox wireless pro controller to PC and using it in PC version of the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Gamepad is not working as expected on PC.
What do you expect to see? Same layout as for the XBOX version of the game and as visualised in the game options.

I know that I can use some third-party software to map Xbox inputs to act as windows keys but that is very annoying to me. I need the correct Xbox controller mapping in this game. Now the game is unplayable and I can't even navigate in the menu.
