It just opens and closes the EA App

I found out the problem was on Anti-LAg on amd driver 24.6.1. Try disabling on adrenalin amd/games, nfs unbound - anti-lag Off,  If you have amd gpu.

I know this is incredibly late but just for future reference and for anyone who found this forum post and has the same issue:

The thing that fixed it for me was, I went to EA's website and downloaded the EA App installer again and then instead of install I hit repair and then followed the instructions on screen. That fixed it for me.

yo u could try running cmd as administrator and then type in SFC /SCANNOW and when i did that i found out that there were corrupted files in my system so it repaired it and i restarted my pc and i could finally see the game running. this is the link btw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x92vvt_ucg. Don't know if the issue is related or not but my KAV set nfs unbound to Low Restricted in the Firewall and caused it to not boot from Steam.

Before discovering this i tried:

1. cleaning EA cache

2. steam verify integrity of files

3. updating video card driver

4. running diagnostics check from command prompt /sfc /scannow

TLDR

if you have an antivirus make sure your firewall or app restrictions isn't blocking it

10/31/2024 - They still haven't fixed their God awful app. Just don't buy their games, it's less stressful, you keep your sanity, you keep your money, it's profit. Anyways, going back to find bypasses, wish me luck.

What fixed it for me was clearing the EA app's cache and launching NFS Heat through the EA app instead of Steam.

i Got a Fix for ya'll open the ea app as an administrator, it will show that the services of ea aren't respondingthen click the option to something like start the ea service and then it will automatically download missing files and then 
BOOM, it is fixed... Thank me later...
