This should have been now fixed as per the new Patch Notes.
The patch will be later released on EA app too.

There were some issues with EA app, but it wasn't because we had any preference between platforms. The update couldn't be released until the issues were fixed on the backend.

Yeah, as @FDR_SCO said it should be online now. However, if it is not online yet, it should be during the day.

I'm finding that the HUD is back, but the game crashed back to desktop at the conclusion of my first MP race series, right before being set back in free roam. Will try again later.
