Mini Map missing after vol 6 update

Hello, My mini map disappeared after vol 6 update. I have the game both on steam and EA play. I tried uninstalling the game then reinstalling it again, still no mini map. Please assist

    In the mean time can we see if the following helps restore the map? (ALSO to check have you made in changes to the default settings?)

Hello @EA_Illium ,

Thank you for your suggestions and indeed one of them worked. I put all game settings to default, and I noticed that somehow the mini map was off. I believe it has something to do with something I noticed recently about my Xbox controller. The left analog stick is not precise anymore in the directions moved. Moving down once is sometimes scrolling the menu 3 times and left and right is doing the same. Moving down affects right and left movements too. I have to really check to see if any of the settings were not disabled or enabled by accident. 

I have had the controller for a long time now, I think it's time to buy a new one.
