Need for Speed Unbound: Compiled list of issues post January 24th patch
- (Tags) Tags, just like any other cosmetic element, should be car-specific so as to match with the design of the car.
- (Tags) There should be an option to completely disable tags, as it was stated in pre-release marketing.
- (Invitations) In Lakeshore online, move player invitations to the left side of the screen as the pop-up currently covers some of the menus. Alternatively, disable invites entirely while the player is in the garage.
- (Liveries) Over the last few days, liveries will fail to save and require several attempts before actually saving, they will also randomly duplicate in the livery list.
- (Liveries) Some designs will not display properly for anyone but the player (see the attached pictures for two different perspectives of the same car, picture 1 is how the car is supposed to look, picture 2 is how my friend sees it).
- (Liveries) Stickers are incorrectly mapped on the Nissan Silvia Spec.R Aero (2002): Attempting to put a sticker on the rear window will not display the sticker on the car model, however the player can move stickers from the front windshield to the rear windshield, which is inconsistent with the way other cars work in the game.
- (Liveries) Player created wraps will sometime fail to load on the car, appearing as if there were no stickers on the car. In order to fix this, the player has to open the wrap editor for the game to load the stickers. This is only a workaround for the person using the car - in Lakeshore online, the wrap will not display for other players regardless of whether or not the owner of the car can see it.
- (Liveries) Upon connecting to Lakeshore online today, none of my wraps were displaying on any of my cars, had to open the livery editor with each car for them to load.
- (Liveries) Since the last update, my liveries appear as if they were not uploaded to the community library when I know for a fact that they were, their download count has been reset to 0. There is no way to know if they have actually been removed from the community or if it is the number of downloads that is now being displaying incorrectly.
- (Cosmetics) In the garage, rims currently change
diameter as the players edits and/or applies a wrap, it can be fixed by browsing tyres but should not be happening.
- (Paint) Mat black livery elements will sometimes appear semi clear when applied over metallic paint. (Tested on a Chevrolet Camaro SS 1967)
- (Paint) Some metallic hues will display differently after being applied to the car. (Tested on a Nissan 180X Type X 1996)
- (Characters) Some players can not edit their character in Lakeshore online past the introduction, while they can access the menu, no option other than what they initially picked when creating the character for the first time can be applied.
- (Decals) Add more anime characters to the livery editor, the clothing section has several items with different characters, yet only one of those was added to the editor.
- (Decals) Patterns from the Codemasters library were added to the livery editor, yet they do not work as they did in Dirt5: in that game they acted as .png with clear backgrounds, everything has now been filled-in with white, greatly diminishing their appeal.
- (Cosmetics) Some cosmetic options have been removed from the game since NFS Heat, most notably beat sync neons. It would be great to see them return to the game.
