NFS Unbound cannot accelerate

I’m playing on ps5 with dual sense controller and to accelerate i have to press R2 and R1 simultaneously. If I press only R2 the car goes like 20 km/h. I’ve tried resetting controls, restarting the game and the console, switching between auto and manual transmission back and forth. Nothing helped.
