NEED FOR SPEED UNBOUND NOT SAVING PROGRESS ON PC

so only playing story mode on the pc. after playing for a whole day and progressing pretty far i quit using the in game menu and turn off my pc. the next day I go to continue my save and its not ther...

Did you by chance, change from SP to MP, or visa versa, as the 2 modes are separate and you will need to restart from the beginning as such!

    This is all i get. I had a save for like 2 play sessions then it gave me an error (couldn't remember what it said) now it straight up wont let me save at all. I've tried deleting and redownloading. checking the folder so it doesnt say read only. i've messed with my malware make sure it wasn't blocking any part of the game. i can't figure out why it's not letting me save.

  It just happened to me, I lost all of my progression and cars.
  
  In 2023, it is unthinkable that there won't be some mechanism developed for syncing local data to the cloud, at least after a problem is detected with one of the local files.
  
  There is a scam here, and EA needs to fix it or compensate us for it.
