NFS Unbound - error code DR1001 "You have been disconnected from the session"

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Uncertain.
What happens when the bug occurs? Kicked from session. Disconnected from friends.
What do you expect to see? To be able to play with friends, and online against other opponents.
Works fine in other EA games, such as NFS Heat and GRID L egends.
When I start my online version (PC via steam) and want to join a lobby from the garage, the game disconnected me and i'm stuck in the loading screen. It didn't happen before until for the past 2 days it kept happening. Does anyone know how to fix this?
