if your theory is correct, then it would be worth comparing the number of cars on the account in the game and the number of cars in the cloud. If there is a discrepancy, find an extra non-removable car and remove it from the cloud. Or even easier - clear the cloud saves completely, they will still load from your local ones. in any case, it is not us who should think about this, but the developers who allowed such a problem to appear. And they can't solve it for six months, or they don't want to. I'm tired of waiting. We paid money for the performance of the game!

I've been playing since Early access from the palace edition and now I'm stuck playing on a alt account due to this BS, I want it fixed so I have my 29 days worth of hard work to be used and not have to restart everything, the challenges, the collectables, the cars themselves, I don't want to lose that at all cause it took ages to reach it.
And tbh if you ask EA through emails they just dodge the request and ask if you've check your internet, no offence to them tbh but it seems like they don't read the emails and just give you a simple reply

@chromiuuum I decided to do some digging and found the old error code chat and it seems like my thoughts on why this is happening is correct as someone had a car disappear on them as well, the car being the taycan
@EA_Illium you should as well at least look through what's being said here as well

Here's my info
Platform: Xbox series X
Xbox GT: Doryzzkendy (Main), Hindune (Alt)
Region: Australia/ OCE
Getting error message: Yes, error code FTCL5001
First instance of error: Day after Vol 3 released last year and has existed till today
Attempts to fix:...
Way too many tbh, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, cleared local save data and re-downloaded from cloud, restarted Xbox.... Then Hard reset Xbox, changed DRN for Wifi, changed domain IP, changed WIFI connections entirely
Things I could do: delete all save data.... (FK that, I have almost 30 days worth of progress that I don't want to lose)
Ways used to find issue: Used Alternate account (Hindune) to see if error was console wide and that's not the case

Additional issues: Constant disconnection from EA online even with stable connection during and after disconnect, inability to even load into Multiplayer garage, extremely slow loading into all multiplayer screens and into buy/ sell cars screen in singleplayer
(Edit) Suspected cause: A car that disappears from a players garage with no possible reason why, unable to be reached by the player or removed by said player, is in both local and cloud storages (as checked by me), seems to constantly gain data which makes the error code and subsequent issues to grow worse over time (example in @chromiuuum recent post where he is now unable to load into Multiplayer at all from Multiplayer garage)
Potential repercussions from possible solution: If we were to delete all save data it would get rid of it.... BUT it removes wraps, decals and body mods of DLC cars and glitches them out, there is no known fix and tbh is a last resort fix and one a player should avoid at all costs

ok, one of my party friends had this problem again a few days ago, we solved this problem together again in the language party. The mistake was again a DLC car on which he changed the wrap and parts of the body. Ok, sold the car, deleted the wrap, then cleared the cache, restarted, and everything was fine again. When I had the error, it was also a DLC car. Just leave the car as it is and you'll be fine.

I've always left the DLC cars alone and in my case with my main I never altered the DLC cars except for engine parts, plus as I've stated before I had deleted every single car and yet it still didn't get fixed due to the car being inaccessible to me what so ever so no, that's isn't gonna work in my case

@JudyRacing I'm on Xbox series X and I was in the original chat in terms of this error code so I've tried everything

Yesterday, on 03/14/24, my game worked fine, only once an error popped up. I didn't do anything. Is this some kind of joke or what is going on? either there is a error, or there is none. Developers, we need a solution and recommendations! It's been a long time!

@chromiuuum I'm sure your just at the point of having it and being able to not have it with a slight change while I'm 100% stuck with it
- 2 years ago@Doryzzkendy I had a period when I couldn't play the game for a month, so the developers didn't release an update. That is, apparently, this is a server problem after all.

Well it might be @chromiuuum ,it might not, but all I know is that after some grueling mass deletes and constant reconnecting, I got my main able to enter multiplayer again, but I still have the issue if I attempt to buy any more cars so I'm stuck but if @EA_Groguet wants a account to trial fixes with, I'll happily allow the usage of my main to help get it fixed

@EA_Groguet on the main yes even though I can access it again (just had enough time with perfect timing to sell cars before it kicked me so I can access my account again but still have the issue when exceeding 40 total cars)
To add on I can tell if a account has the issue as it will freeze for about half a second before loading in to multiplayer unlike normal where it's instant and it gets longer as you have more cars and just over time in general
Also as a request is it possible to transfer save data while keeping parts of the old save data as I want to have access to what I've grinded on my alt while have all the challenges, cash, singleplayer progress and collectable/ map events kept
