A few of us over on the Steam forums have worked out the following - if you delete your savedgame file from the NFS Unbound folder in My Documents, then the game will work just fine. However, you lose all cars and achievement progress. The only progress that carries over and can be worked on is your user level and speedpass progress.
It would appear as though the savefile is part of the problem.
I also found a Reddit post from a user 9 months ago who experienced the same "inventory cannot be loaded". They determined that a corrupt car model was the problem and solved their issue by deleting all cars from SP and MP. Whilst I can delete all cars from SP, I cannot from MP, Besides - I wouldn't want to do that - it's almost as bad as starting a whole new save over. It’s sound like a very sh*t situation. Because I can’t play a lot in real life. And all 5 months like a waste of time for nothing. Why should I pay and play a game service if after a while I have start from the beginning?! I hope they can solve the problem without deleting all my progress.
A very crappy situation indeed - I have almost 800H and am at lvl250 in this game. If it turns out my saved file is corrupt or something and I have to start over... I don't think I have the resilience and will just move on.
Hey there!
I was just playing Unbound a few minutes ago and bought a car from the car dealer.
Due to weird glitches, I forced the game to close.
But when I tried logg into the game, I got the error message "F0D - Inventory could not be loaded".Here are my infos:
- Platform: Steam
- EA ID: Vladii_B
- Are you getting an error message? Yes
- Does this happen to any other account on the device? No
- What type of network are you using? Wireless
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip. I have a Screenshot, but it's in German.
- If on PC, please share a DxDiag and an EA app Error ID. 5f949a15-7f60-4e5b-9bf7-11aad9a493a8
I also have been having this issue But my error code says F03 with "your inventory could not be loaded" with my online account for my xbox.
- @rinat47 before deleting the save make a copy of it, in case when they do fix it you can just pop the old one back in
Well. I solved my problem.
I found a Folder : C...../Documents\Need For Speed(TM) Unbound, where is my saved files based.
1. I've copied this folder to another directory for safety.
2. Right Click to this folder than "Restore previous version" and i resored it (Fortunately i had a copy into this function)
After that the problem had gone! and now i am playing the game in multiplayer.
By the way I made refund a VOL 7 Speedpass before restoring, because I think the problem might be about that (F03 came when i purchased VOL7 pack)
Yea so, it would appear you are using an older, non-corrupt save file. I used a backed up save file from 2 weeks ago and that also works. My problem is that I tinker with cars so much that 2 weeks lost is still a lot.
Volume 7 definitely did something to that save file - I only started experiencing problems after it installed, specifically the second patch that was put out soon after first.
There is compelling evidence now that save files have been corrupted by the latest volume. It does not appear to be an EA server side issue as some initially suggested. This would also explain the lack of communication from Criterion - they recognise there is NOTHING that can be done, unless you backed up your save file.
It's really poor. Save file backups should NOT be something the user needs to worry about.
Admins - please get clarification to us asap. If the save files are indeed corrupt and Criterion/EA can't do anything then at least be transparent.
