NFS Unbound - Purchase Failed error when buying cars

I come back to this game every now and then to see if the bug has been patched. each time it hasn't. Here's everything i can tell you:

This problem started for me a while back, I don't know the specific day. I was messing with modding the game using frosty mod manager, as everyone does. I did so successfully and from what I could see, without damaging the game. I didn't mess with any game files or mess with the game itself in a way that would harm it. Everything was working fine and was running smoothly when I was finished playing. Btw, I had successfully purchased vehicles while playing a modded version of the game. The next day I loaded the [vanilla] game back up and played for a bit before deciding to buy a new car, the bugatti. I went to purchase it and got a purchase failed message. After a few more attempts of trying to buy the bugatti, I kept getting the same message: "Purchase Failed" with the only option being "Yes." (as shown in other screenshots posted on this wall, and in one provided on this post). I tried buying the cheapest car, being the chevy c10 after failing to buy the bugatti. "Purchase Failed". I looked the internet for answers and could not find any. Now I just check back on the game every few weeks to months hoping it is fixed, and being dissapointed everytime. I do not play this game anymore and probably will continue to not do so until this game is fixed. Mind you, I have 22 cars in story and 9 in online. Let me know if you have any questions.
