@EA_Illium I can't enter "Unbound" through "Steam" like I normally do, please expain what the reason is behind this and hopefully it's going to end for many of players along with myself.
@OGoldenSilver It shouldn't be at work. If that file exists, you are exposed to a server-side block. This should be the folder content.
IGO files may multiply every time you run the game. That doesn't matter. You may have different numbers of files. The important thing is that the file I mentioned does not exist.
The problem is not server blocking. This is due to the game's denuvo protection. As long as you keep trying, you will be blocked. If you ask why this is happening, I wrote it in the first place. Even the slightest change in the PC can cause this. For example, even if you enter the BIOS and change the simplest setting. It shouldn't happen, but it does. That's why there is no answer that says it is 100% caused by this.
Those who say they waited and it didn't happen are wrong, and those who are getting better now are the ones who really waited.
Waiting does not concern this game, but all EA games. Even if you try another game like NFS Heat, Unbound doesn't open, 24 hours will be added directly to your time. Because there is no denuvo protection in NFS Heat. That's why you can open it. But the server records that you are logged in from the same account. Then, if you want to run Unbound, this guy says there is some input and blocks it directly.
In short, you must wait 24 hours before opening any EA game.
If you ask me how I know this, the same thing happened to me in the past and when I couldn't find a solution, I directly contacted one of the developers of the game via X and asked. It took a week for the man to respond. By that time, the game had already been opened because I wasn't at home and I hadn't touched it at all. Then I saw in the man's answer that I had to wait 24 hours. I already waited because I wasn't at home. It was a bit of a coincidence, but that's the way it is, friends.
Additionally, this game allows up to 3 different PCs with a single account. For example, if you try it on a 4th PC, it blocks it directly. I have two PCs, it has been working fine on both of them for a long time.
Another issue, I think it is related to the Windows product key. If you have the embedded OEM key, it detects that the PC is the same PC and does not cause any problems as long as the motherboard is not changed. But if you have a Retail or Mak key, there may be problems. For example, you made changes to the bios, formatted and installed Windows, or changed a part. Because it thinks you are accessing from a different device.
I quoted another denuvo protected game from Steam.
I did initially get the timing wrong for waiting 24h, it appears to be working now. Hoping it stays that way.
