NFS Unbound crashes after clicking play (Device Hung DirectX)

So I have this issue for a while. No other game has this kind of error. I can sometimes play but is very rare. The error is DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_H...

    I have found something that works (for me).

    In GPU tweak III, I have lowered my Powertarget by 10% and GPU Boost Clock by 100 MHz.

I had this exact same issue, funny thing is that ever since it started crashing I never touched it again until today.
Apparently, using DisplayPort 1.4 cables + DP 1.4 Ports on the GPU solves the issue, I assume since DP 1.4 has more bandwidth than HDMI 2.1 (which my RTX 3070 uses) so the GPU doesn't spike to 100% usage and crashes trying to use the entire bandwidth.

    AMD driver 24.6.1: - Solved.

    I bought the game on sale last week and I had this problem. I have many games and only NFS Unbound was crashing at startup DirectX error.

    After 3 days , I found out, I tried everything you can imagine to solve it.

    My problem was ANTI-LAG enabled on AMD Software Adrenalin,disable it, game runs perfectly,

    On Adrenalin, search Games, Need for Speed Unbound, disable anti-lag. You can enable "Fluid Motion" (it increases fps), and Image Sharppening.

    My system:

    Asus tuf gaming x670 e-plus wifi, 7800x3D , 32gb, Rx 6800.

    I posted this on youtube and reported to AMD support.

      I'm using the same driver, anti lag is on. I did not encounter any problems on either PC. One is RX 6600 and the other is RX 6900 XT.

      Nice, disable Anti-Lag worked for me :-)
