Summarize your bug My car bugged out and most of the panelling vanished, now you can only see the insides of the car. Because of this the game will not load anymore when trying to enter online, I assume its because the bugged car is my current selected car that I tried to race with and the game cant compute the bugged car so it refuses to load the game up..
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Don't know, just randomly happened
What happens when the bug occurs? You can no longer play the game, literally will not load past the loading screen even the loading bar is at 100%.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to play the game again, that would be nice. I'm permanently locked out of my game due to this bug.
This did also happen on single player, reported here too yet no response from them.

For getting out of it, I assume you don't have any alternate cars or enough cash to get one, but if you do, that might let you sell the bugged car?This is on PC for me.
My car was BRZ with VARIS full body kit which I have used in many races with no issues. I just changed the plates on the car and added a plate frame then next race the car was glitched and the race would not load. Restarted the game but since the last car I used was the car that is now bugged, it will no longer allow me to get past the main menu of the game.
Yes I have many alternate cars and plenty of cash to buy more if I wanted too, I would even love to sell that bugged car as well, but as I have described before and again now, this game will not load past the main menu, this picture attached is as far as I can get into the game now since the game cannot compute the bugged car within the game, not allowing the game to load after loading bar is 100% on the loading screen.
I'm currently permanently locked out of the online portion of this game and can only play story mode, but as others here have said, it has also happened to them in story mode and they are locked out of the story mode portion of this game.
All performance parts appear to be tires and will crash when selected. I don't know why this is happening. Before this happened, there was a bug in which parts of the car were invisible(The second image). It's probably related. The graphics card driver is the latest version and there is no problem with DirectX. I also tried repairing game files. And I tried reinstalling it. It's impossible to proceed with the game. If I erase all the save files and restart the story mode, it will be solved. But this isn't the solution (you can't restart the game forever). If it is not resolved, I will request a refund. Please help me. I like this game. But the game seems to hate me.

I also had the same issue. after clicking one of the parts my game crashed and now i can no longer launch multiplayer. when i hover over the online option from the home screen my car appears to be very bugged.

So to help you guys out i know it seems like a stretch but delete the save data from everywhere if your playing on xbox on playstation i dont really know but probably the same method, you are gonna want to start fresh and play throughout without putting any body parts on and get uprgades and get past the first qualifier.. i am currently on week 2 after deleting my save data on the xbox series s. Because i was playing one and put body parts on my ford crown vic and it judt look like my car got stripped.

Then when i switched to performance upgrades all the parts showed tires(shown in attached file). When I clicked on one of the parts my game crashed.Now while on the home screen before i click online, the preview of my car is very bugged/glitched (shown in attached file)
when clicking to launch online mode my game gets frozen on the green and black graffiti loading screen.
After speaking with EA help and following all the troubleshooting they provided, they could not figure out a way to resolve this issue and directed me to the forums.
I believe that the game will not load the online mode because of the bugged state of the car.
EDIT: I got the game to launch online mode by removing the save file. So I believe my theory was right and the bugged car is the problem. I have 65 hrs of time played and dont want to have to start all over again so hopefully this issue gets resolved soon.
Yep, I have the same issue, posted here as well. Other people also have this issue but in story mode. Someone has both story mode and online cars bugged so they cant play the game at all. His game has literally become Need for Speed: Main Menu Simulator. I personally have this issue for online just like you.
Wish I could play the game online... but we are forever bugged out of the game.
People are lucky complaining about small bugs within the game, we cant even play the game. At least they can still play it.
I also have this problem online and in story mode, so I can't play the game at all. At first, I thought it was the spoiler I put on my car however, reading yours, there's one thing that is common between all three cases. The license plate along with a body kit or just rear modification.

Im having the same issue! Just that it happend to me in single player after i tried and modify a prize car it bricked itself and softlocked me from launching singleplayer.
After major update, still the exact same, game wont load past the main menu due to car being bugged out. Was hoping with all the fixes they introduced with major update that I would be able to play online but of course, nothing has changed. Forever locked out of the game due to a game breaking bug since the second day of release.
Hopefully one day I will be able to play this game.
Me too. I got this game on absolutely painful experience towards the end of the game. Extremely frustrating AI We’ve cheating, shenanigan, * manoeuvres. I do not have the willpower or the strength for me to finish the game again. And and at least over 10 hours of gameplay in online, which I enjoyed heavily I was in the middle of customising. My Nissan, Sylvia, K 1998 when out of nowhere the tyres are the only option for everything so restarted the game and now on completely shot. If I have to restart I’m not playing this game again I just do not have the strength all the complete willpower to go through that much torture and pain ever again and it seems like this is a common issue with this game. You would think they would’ve fixed it.
