NFS Unbound Error Code 6 & Error Code 9: "Unable to save file"

Hey All

I just want to report that this issue continues to this day. I know there were a lot of reports about a year ago; I never had the issue until purchasing Vol6 Speed Pass about a week ago. All of a sudden I have issues with my save game; I cannot save new wraps to any vehicle.

I've tried the usual fixes of resyncing save files, deleting save files, trying to delete all the wraps and finding the wrap that causes the problem; deleting the cars, going through the downloaded library and cleaning it out etc.

I've also noticed that cars wont save any other visual effects, tyre smoke, tags, etc.

I've only got 40 cars; I noticed in other comments people had 70+ before seeing the issue.

Has anyone worked out how to permanently fix this problem? I don't want to start a new game, I'm collecting achievements and am close to finishing them all.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Per my summary.
What happens when the bug occurs? Error 6 is displayed on the screen
What do you expect to see? Wraps and vanity effects, driving effects applying without issue.

Just to say it's very frustrating as you can imagine, and appears to be affecting my older cars too - not just the new ones.

I didn't want to risk it , but got lucky by just deleting 1 car


The Darius Special R8

that was the cause, added by buying the speedpass.

if anyone reads this, I fixed it by deleting the Darius Special edition R8 - added by the speed pass

I didn't have to delete all my saves etc.. that was the car doing it.

I actually appear to have fixed this error.  I don't know which of the below steps fixed the problem but listing all of them just in case:

1. Turned off auto sync 

2. Cleared PS5 cache

3. Downloaded NFS Unbound cloud data file to overwrite console storage data file

4. Opened game and deleted most recently-created wrap (Error 9 and Error 6 showed up after trying to save this wrap)

5. Sold last purchased car which was associated with deleted wrap

6. Had to select each of my cars and open up the Style option which reloaded its wrap

7. Deleted all unused and unshared wraps from Library 

Please note:

1. The game kept erroring out when closing until I completed #4 above

2. The wrap I deleted, which seems to have triggered the problem, was a complex wrap with 100+ components (may have been too large and created memory issues)

3. All my shared wraps became unshared at some time during the above troubleshooting steps

4. I have not reshared any wraps yet

5. I still have auto-sync off

6. The game is now running smoothly again and I only lost one wrap and car

Dunno if this will help anyone else but good luck!

😮 Is that your only solution? WTF YOU TALKING ABOUT...! I've tried this game several times after updating vol 6. It always shows information like in the attachment ERROR CODE: 6 I don't think this is a solution but this game is broken, can you fix it or not? or you dev want kill this games cmon" fix the damn *.
