Just lost 1037 hours of gameplay on NFS Unbound both online and story mode (full reset), but I still have all my Data, achievements and stats saved on my Xbox account. How do I get that back for gameplay?

Hey @extreme_garlic0 Thanks for confirming, that message was mentioned in our update here. This pops up when the game attempts to auto-save and encounters an issue, as mentioned in our post you will want to: If you have encountered this message your progress is not saved nor will it be for this session. Please manually close the game app, turn on your engines and continue playing your progression prior to the previous session. Once you restart the game you should pick up from your last saved point and can play from there, with you just missing the latest auto-save attempted that encountered the error. If you get another message about the save being corrupted that means the save file its become corrupted in which case we would not be able to recover progress.

Literally just happened to me on PC platform via steam. Started the game about 15 mins ago and WITHOUT WARNING. I lost EVERYTHING! 529 HRS down the drain and about $50+ in DLC's GONE. I am infuriated by this, I would seriously appreciate help because I WILL NOT START OVER.

Did you get an error message? : No
Are you missing Story mode progress or online progress? Missing story and Online Progress. Purchased Speed Passes Still there.

When did your progress disappear? Between Yesterday ( 2-15-25) 3pm and Today ( 2-16-25 )
Was this after a reinstall of NFS Unbound, or did you move to a new device? : No
Do you own NFS Unbound or play via a service like EA Play or GamePass? : YES, VIA STEAM

Only way around this is to back your save game up @ documents/nfsunbound/savegame
copy it after every couple races, upload it and keep it somewhere safe
so if your save becomes corrupt again you have a backup

I lost all my progression on need for speed unbound I restarted my game multiple times and I still have yet to recover it, but it still has all my trophies and trophy case what should I do?

I also have this issue but it wasn't due to corruption and I got no message saying any files where corrupt my game lagged but did successfully auto save but upon logging back in a few minutes later all my save data was reset and I'm not sure of how to fix it

Was this after a reinstall of NFS Unbound, or did you move to a new device? Both. Installed on my Nephew Windows PC, had the save. Installed on my Steam Deck the next day the Save is gone. Selected a Multiplayer car, stuck with that ever since (save does migrate to Desktop on both a Steam as well as Steamless install via the EA App).
Do you own NFS Unbound or play via a service like EA Play or GamePass? No, bought on Steam.
If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number Can't, playing on Linux and the game is already overwritten, so i get no Errors.

Same thing happened to me, lost everything except the cars I've unlocked via collectables. Don't see a way to get anything back. So that drove me to motorfest

Hi EA I made a tread the other day about the same issue I moved from the ps5 to the pro and all my saves are gone the game has essentially started from the begging again I’ve got my player level money but all my cars and challenge progression has gone if there’s any way of recovering my cars etc would be appreciated
