It is possible there was Windows or other updates that are causing an issue, you can check this and roll back the update(s) to see if that helps.
Additional troubleshooting:
- Clear the EA app cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
- In the EA app, click on the game and then Manage, Repair
- Download and install all available Windows Updates
- Run System File Checker to help ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
- Perform a clean boot before starting: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
Thanks.
I just bought this game and I'm running it on a 4070 with an i7-14700K and it crashes after ten minutes just as OP said.
Performed over one-hour FurMark GPU test to confirm GPU and drivers are working adequately
Ran Intel XTU to confirm healthy CPU
Checked CrystalDiskInfo to check for SSD/NVMe errors
Ran an sfc /scannow to check for system issues
Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to confirm no RAM errors occurred
Checked Event Viewer and checked output with online tech forums
AND set EA to run as administrator.
Please, I do not want a refund - I want to play my game. I am running on Windows 11 with hardware that is excessively past the recommended hardware for the game. The issue is the game itself.
Please provide support to stop these crashes.
