NFS Unbound ignores all input and gets stuck

Product: Need for Speed: Unbound
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug The game will very randomly and almost always ignore my input on both controller and keyboard and my car either gets stuck turning in one direction, flying into a wall or i can't navigate the menus and pause the game. Happens randomly and often costs me events and races. Frustrating as I paid 70 dollars for this game. I have tried with a ds4 controller, and an xbox controller. Updating the xbox software does not fix the issue. Playing on ea play.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play normally, more than likely will happen when using controller.
What happens when the bug occurs? Car will freeze and gets stuck accelerating, braking and turning in various directions based on my last input detected.
What do you expect to see? A WORKING GAME FFS! I FEEL LIKE I WASTED MY DAMN MONEY!

    @ANAKINN_UCHIHA Check if possible your Device Manager in Windows and see if the device manager refresh when it freeze like this and if yes, this mean one of your device/driver (USB or SATA) is causing the refresh and you're going to have to troubleshoot each device one by one to find out which one is the problem. In my case, this was one SATA Hard Disk causing it. There is an other topic with the same issue you might want to take a look:

    Hi! I Appreciate your extensive troublehsoiting on this issue. I had a suspicion this could be the problem, as I was having this issue with a different program I run on my laptop for my artwork. I troubleshot it the same way with device manager and learned that it was my mouse causing the program to freeze.

    After reading your post I wasn't able to immediately test to see if this was the issue due to my lack of a second monitor ( playing on a blade 15 with 1 2tb m.2 ssd which has windows and another 1tb m.2 ssd for extra space) After acquiring a second monitor and launching the game that same refresh problem that my art program was having with the device manager was occuring with this game when inputs froze.

    After disabling my second m.2 I played the game for about 3 hours with no issue. While I can confidently say this fixed the issue, I can hardly call it a solution, or an acceptable workaround as I am Iosing access to my second drive and have to reactivate it and restart my computer after each session to fix any errors generated as a result.

    @ANAKINN_UCHIHA I agree the game have to be fixed to ignore device manager refresh due to a mouse or a 2nd HDD not even used by the game. At least we know what is causing it and I hope the dev will fix this asap.
