No Controller input on ps5***HELP

Same thing happens with my other controller also. 

I have tried the controller wired and wireless. 

Something is up with the game or has to be because other games work perfectly fine. It's so strange, I've never encountered anything like this before. 

No controller input is one thing then the only time the controller does work once I've reset it whilst ingame the car automatically jams in reverse and I cannot do anything, if I accelerate it just rips a mad burnout because it's still in reverse, all other inputs work when this happens but cannot do anything about the car being in reverse. I've popped the L2 button out and tested it and it still does the same thing jams in reverse as if the button has been held down.

      Yeah I tried everything I could possibly think of including taking the controller apart and checking all connections. Still isn't working to this day so sad I had to stop playing and I traded the game in for something else. I was really enjoying the game, it's a shame.
