Official supported racing wheels for this game is still not working? (PC)

Question

Hi! I wanted to get back into Unbound after a year of being inactive and I noticed that the wheel support is still not implemented at all?

Windows 11, G hub, Steam, origin (It's a better name), AND the game itself is all updated to the latest version...

And yet NFS Unbound can't even detect my G29 that hooked up into my gaming laptop? It works but it's just a glorified standard controller with the wrong button coronations of being the Xbox layout. No wheel settings to adjust the wheel in game... This even extends that some bindings like turning off your engine doesn't even work with my wheel since again, it's being detected as a standard Xbox controller (Not even a Playstation one).

So far I skimming down the forms on here that have the same type of problems and with no solution so far. This post is a shot in the dark but if any information on what can I do to fix this problem (Or the devs care enough) is much appreciated!

Hi @JajuanBRZ99, Can you grab the volume 8 update that was released today, as well check for any windows and graphic card updates and test if this continues?

Hi! Sorry for the wait, so I have updated the game to the latest version and all my graphic drivers/Windows and still it have no "detection" that the game recognize the G29. It still plays fine but with the camera button (Triangle) is also used for the horn. When using a shifter, at the start of the race when the shifter isn't in neutral or in higher gear than the first gear the car just kind of stalls like it mis-firing and hesitate to accelerate and the only fix for this when this happen is to use the Up/Down paddles on the wheel to put it in R and then you can drive it properly. can't switch off/on my car with the wheel and have to use the PC/Controller and some buttons on the steering wheel (L2/L3/R2/R3/Share/Red dial/+ and - dial) have no functionality at all. And the drag mode for wheels is completely broken with a wheel as the car will constantly change lanes uncontrollably and acceleration is practically non-existent to win the Drag race.
