Online race invite interupts customisation & purchases in garage.

Same problem here.

Cannot see the stats, when the invt is live. Also there is no button to reject while customizating..

So the bypass is just get back to the main garage screen, reject and come back to the customization☹️

Love when there's multiple invites. So much fun. 

EA please fix this, i cant just keep exiting the customization menu just to decline race invites.

I completely agree with the OP. This is very frustrating in Lakeshore Online. 

I sometimes have to wait for minutes to edit my car because people either are trying to start multiple races or someone keeps spamming the same invite trying to annoy people into joining his/her race. 

I've attached a screenshot describing the issue with text. Here's the text from the image again for easy copy-paste for the engineering team. 

I propose two changes to fix this issue...

The race invite window blocks the customization area while in the Lakeshore Online mode.

The user cannot cancel the window and is forced to wait down the timer. While in online mode players often have to wait minutes (literally) while all the race invite timeouts clock down because multiple people are trying to start races.

While not in the garage (Lakeshore Online free roam) an accept / decline option is available using DPad Up / Down (if using a gamepad). The box is there while in the garage, but the options to accept or decline are not presented to the user.

User Stories:
1. As a user sitting in the garage in Lakeshore Online I want the ability to accept or cancel a race invite the same way I accept or cancel in Lakeshore Online free roam mode so that I don't have to wait for the timeout to view my vehicle stats.

2. As a user in the settings and game options area I want the ability to enable or disable Lakeshore Online race invites while in my garage so that I don't need to decline invites while customizing my vehicle.

A simple fix may be moving the race invites into a smaller bar at the top of the screen and use a different button other than the up d-pad to enter or cancel the event. Maybe the Y or X buttons for X-box and equivalent while inside the garage.

The only time this wont work is in the wrap editor.... Although about 99% of the time, if I am editing a wrap, I am in no hurry to quickly exit to join a race. - in this case, I would just have the pop up smaller to tell the user to back out of the wrap editor to be able to join the race/event/playlist.

Exactly my thought, a small bar at the top of the screen would be better.

Genuinely baffling how this made it in the game. It's so incredibly irritating. This game is full of these weird nonsensical oversights.

How is this bug still a part of the game 3-4 months on? EA is a laughing stock.
