PC Controller Mapping incorrect and unplayable

Product: Need for Speed: Unbound
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug PC Controller Mapping incorrect and unplayable
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connect an xbox one controller to PC via bluetooth and try to navigate a menu
What happens when the bug occurs? the button mapping is all wrong. ABXY act as arrow keys, start and select act as A and B etc etc
What do you expect to see? the controller to work

Xbox controller on PC doesnt recognise default mapping. ABXY act as arrow buttons, start and select seem to be A and B, or acting like escape. no way to remap in game as there is zero customisation allowed for controller

    It didn't work. I still can play no EA games. I don't regret buying the dongle though as it unlocked some previously console-only functions my xbox elite series 2 controller. 
    I do regret buying a new controller when a full day of troubleshooting failed to fix the issue, only to discover it wasn't the controller, but rather EA games screwing up my controller. 

    Again, playing an EA game messes something up so that my controller will not work on any game unless I uninstall it, restart the computer, and reinstall the drivers. Gonna avoid EA games for a while...hopefully they'll have responded to this by the time the next jedi game comes out or I'm gonna be pretty freakin sad.
