PS4 controller not being recognized on NFS Unbound

Is there anyone else who bought the Palace editon on the EA app or Origin app and when you lauched the game your controller wouldn't connect? I've been scratching my head for hours now trying to get ...

    @effone Hi, there are issues with the PS controllers right now.

    However Xbox controllers should work, I've been using one to test myself. Can you restart the game then try the Xbox controller again?

@EA_David I was online with tech support for over 45 min with them trying to help and this suggestion never came up I realize now that I only tried the controller with the game already running not plugging it up then starting thank you for the help!

    Doesn't work with ps5 controller though.

    Do you figure using a controller masking software like DS4Windows would allow PS controllers to work, at least until a solution is implemented?

    Edit: after a quick test, DS4Windows does allow a PS controller to work.

      Just downloaded and installed DS4winsows and it did not work for me

        If you have the game on steam/ have steam open you may need to disable steams controller config in big picture mode or just exit steam.
